Often when we know a program, we take for granted what we know.
Seeing is believing, and you need to see the justice it does to your images that Camera Raw just does not do at all. I am looking forward to share just why I am so excited about this program. I wish I skipped all of them and went straight to being comfortable with it in a short period of time. These 4 people described myself at some point at time. The program is filled with wonderful surprises and you want to know more.

Number 2, sort of blends in with what I just said but it’s that while you can find the information elsewhere already, I’m presenting it in my style and I hope it’s one people find easy to digest and learn from. I can’t stand YouTube videos which drag on and on. My style is to get straight to the point, quickly present the important info, and move on. Number 1, I think that some of the education currently available is a little long.

I’m sure some of you have your doubts as to how good Capture One actually is, but if we assume it is as good as I say, why did I decide to teach it? There are in fact a great deal of tutorials online already which show people how to use the program. As to my actual reasons for liking Capture One so much, I think that will all become apparent in this and subsequent videos. It’s like someone saying “max, we’d like you to be an affiliate for chocolate, beer, or Indian food”. Secondly, I was over the moon to be an affiliate for a product I believe so strongly in. So, firstly I was very proud to have been accepted. I could be wrong, but as far as I’m aware they don’t accept just anyone.

I recorded this series and then got in touch with Capture One, applied for their affiliate scheme and was accepted. In fact, lets address the affiliate thing now. Having recently been accepted onto the Capture One affiliate scheme, I also know people never believe anyone who is an affiliate of something (more on that at the end) but trust me when I say, Capture one is wonderful. I know people have huge loyalties toward other software, Lightroom for example, and don’t get me wrong I do use and like Lightroom, but for a studio photographer, there is no comparison.

It is a fantastic piece of software for any studio photographer. Capture One really has become that ubiquitous, and for good reason. Thankfully, I can honestly say that’s never happened.
